As a local girl born and raised in a family of medical professionals, Timrie Milham Wells understands first hand the needs of nurses and doctors in Polk County. After working in various professions, as well as staying home for several years to raise her daughters, Raelynn and Allie, Wells started Healing Hearts Home Medical Supply in late 2013, with a goal to help meet the needs of the medical field in Polk County.

Another fun focus of Healing Hearts Home Medical Supply is their scrubs. With half of the store housing bright, comfortable and affordable clothing for medical professionals, they hope to meet any need a nurse or doctor might have. Currently, they sell Wonder Wink scrubs and stock all sizes for men and women including plus sizes. For a small fee, Healing Hearts will also custom embroider the scrubs for their customers. “We know how hard it is for local nurses and doctors to find cute and comfortable scrubs locally, with so many being forced to travel to DeQueen, Hot Springs or Fort Smith, to purchase scrubs we wanted to provide a great supply locally. We keep many in stock but we are also willing to order any size, style or design and they will arrive in just three business days,” Wells said.

Healing Hearts Home Medical Supply is active on social media with a Facebook page under their full name and an Instagram account under the name HealingHeartsHMS, where Wells hosts fun giveaways and posts discounts for their valued customers. They are also working hard on a website: healingheartsscrubs.com that will go live May 1, 2014.
“I love living in Polk County. I love that the crime level is so low and that you can go to Wal-Mart and always run into a friend or family member. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. I saw a need for both DME and scrubs and supplies for medical professionals in our area and I’m so excited to be able serve the hardworking medical professionals in this fantastic community,” Wells said.
