August 17, 2026

James Alaniz, 60, of Abilene, TX was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant.

 

August 18, 2026

Timothy Laws, 56, of Mena was arrested by an officer with the Arkansas State Police on charges of DWI, Fail to Maintain Lane, and No Proof of Insurance.

Scotty Baxter, 47, of Wickes was arrested on a Body Attachment as well as two Failure to Appear warrants.

 

August 19, 2026

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hwy 8 E near Board Camp in reference to the violation of a No Contact Order leading to the arrest of Dakota Looney, 25, of Mena on a charge of Violation of a No Contact Order.

Katelyn Enyeart, 33, of Little Rock was arrested on a Probation Violation Warrant.

 

August 20, 2026

Jesse Zamora, 43, of Mena was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant.

Deputies responded to a report of a violation of a No Contact Order.

Deputies were dispatched to Acheson Lane near Big Fork in reference to a structure fire.

 

August 21, 2026

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Ryan Lane in reference to a dog bite victim.

Robert Owens, 49, of Mena was arrested on a warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Rodney McQueen, 48, of Cove was arrested on a charge of Violation of a No Contact Order.

Bradley Moss, 50, of Mena was arrested on a Drug Court Sanction.

 

August 22, 2026

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 10 near Wickes leading to the arrest of Scotty Baxter, 47, of Wickes on charges of Possession of Firearm by Certain Persons, Manufacture of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance, and Communicating a False Alarm.

 

August 23, 2026

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on W Dover Street near Hatfield in reference to a vehicle being broken into leading to the arrest of Jon Flowers, 54, of Hatfield on charges of Criminal Trespass, Disorderly Conduct, and 1st Degree Criminal Mischief.

 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked 0 vehicle accidents this week.
