Quality Construction

Quality Construction, a locally owned construction company, was started two years ago.  They focus on general construction, power washing, siding, roofing, painting and handyman service.  According to owner Paul Headings, their goal is to make their customer happy and to do good and quality work.

Headings was born in Polk County but raised in Missouri.  In 2007, at the age of 21, he moved back to Mena to marry his wife, Kourtney.

At the age of 15, Headings began his career in construction when he started working for a general contractor whose primary focus at the time was roofing.  “I enjoy all of the work I do but I really like roofing.  Around the time I started working, there was a bad storm in Missouri that caused a lot of roof damage.  Though we did all kinds of construction we focused for a while on roofing.  It’s hard work and a lot of people don’t like it, but I think that what you know the best, you like the best and I like it,” explained Headings.

Because of his extensive roofing knowledge, Headings owns a second company, Quality Roofing Solutions, which serves businesses all over the state of Arkansas.  They focus on commercial roofing, and while they will replace an entire roof, their specialty is in repairing existing roofs.  “We will take an existing roof and go over what is already there.  We renovate it and do not have to tear off the old roof.  That way we do not expose what is insideof the building to the elements,” Headings explained.  Having completed several large jobs locally, Headings has wonderful recommendations from Polk County businesses.  One of them is from Marty Harvey, owner and general manager of The Limetree Inn.  He says, “I have been in business for over 20 years and dealt with other roofing companies.  Paul Headings and his crew put on a far superior roof than the others.  They were very professional and showed up when they said they would.  They installed a better product for even a cheaper price.  I would recommend them for any roofing job.  I will definitely call him back if I need another roof.”  For more information about Quality Roofing Solutions visit www.QualityRoofSolutions.com.

After at least 13 years in the construction industry, Headings has some great experience under his belt.  Since moving back to Polk County he has spent some time working with Bob Hostetler and gained knowledge and experience from him.  “I have done several large painting jobs lately, both inside and outside of the house,” said Headings.  With the exception of sheetrock finishing, electrical and plumbing work, Quality Construction can build an entire house.  “I enjoy going somewhere and making things look better.  I also enjoy making my customer happy and providing quality work for them.  I really enjoy taking something that doesn’t look great and improving it,” explained Headings.  For bids or inquiries, you can reach Quality Construction by calling, (479) 234-7553 or by emailing headingsp@yahoo.com.

“I like the nice, friendly people in Polk County.  The small town is nice.  I don’t like too big of a city because the hustle and bustle is hectic.  You can take your time around here.  I enjoy my church, The Amish Mennonite Church, and Kourtney’s family is here which is very important.  I also enjoy the mountains and the scenery in Polk County,” said Headings.
