Report from complainant on Polk 69 near the Opal community of the theft of several tools from a shop, all valued at $4,385.25.  Investigation continues.

Arrested was Jessica Y. Siler, 30, of Mena, on a Warrant for Probation Violation.

Arrested was Levi R. Cottman, 24, of Mena, on a Warrant for Criminal Contempt.

November 11, 2014

Arrested was James R. Ellsworth, 29, of Mena, on a Body Attachment Warrant.

November 12, 2014

Arrested was Tyler R. Prine, 49, of Cove, on a Warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Delivery of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance.

November 13, 2014

Report from a Mena woman of being sexually assaulted while at work.  Investigation continues.

Arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department was James A. Turnbough, 55, of Wickes, on Charges of Careless/Prohibited Driving and Possession of a Firearm by Certain Persons.

November 14, 2014

Arrested was Aaron F. Ollar, 26, of Mena, on four Warrants for Failure to Comply with a Court Order.

Arrested was Robert I. Owens, 37, of Mena, on a Pike County Warrant.

Report from complainant on Stagecoach Lane near Mena of the theft of checks.  Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on Barton Street in Cove of vandalism to a vehicle while parked on national forest land, causing $200 in damages.  Investigation continues.

Report from Mena Regional Health System of an assault victim.  Investigation continues.

November 15, 2014

Arrested was Mark A. Romero, 23, of Mena, on a Warrant for Failure to Appear.

November 16, 2014

Report from complainant on Highway 8 East near the Board Camp community of the break-in and theft of several firearms, all valued at $1,200.00.  Investigation continues.

Report of a domestic disturbance on Polk 659 near the Board Camp community.  One of the parties was transported from the residence and advised to not return to the property.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked one vehicle accident this week.

Polk County Detention Center Jail Population: 30 Incarcerated Inmates; 19 Inmates currently on the Waiting List for a State Facility, of which 2 are currently out of jail on a monitoring system.
