Ronald Dean “Ronnie” Wood

Ronald Dean “Ronnie” Wood, age 76, of Texarkana, Texas, died Friday, September 18, 2015 at his home.

Mr. Wood was born July 7, 1939 in Monroe, Michigan. He was retired from International Paper Co. and member of Family Word Church in Texarkana. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his father, Tellus Wood and his mother, Juber Wimberly Wood and one brother, Jimmy Wood all of Mena, Arkansas.

He is survived by his wife: Betty Wood of Texarkana, Texas; four sons and three daughters-in-law: Chris Wood and Curtis and Kimber Wood of Texarkana, Texas; Wade and Mickie Wood of Taylor, Arkansas; Pat and Debbie Wood of Simms, Texas; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers and one sister-in-law: Maurice and Tommye Wood of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; Byron Wood of Harrison, Arkansas; three sisters and one brother-in-law: Donna Stipe, Lynda Settle, Julia and R. C. Gilbert all of Mena, Arkansas; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Mike and Pasty Rybiski; Judy Rybiski and a host nephews, nieces , family and friends.

Funeral services were held Sept. 21, 2015. Graveside services were at Pinecrest Cemetery in Mena, Arkansas.
