
Katie was born in St. Louis, Missouri on June 15, 1944 to Arnold H. Ritzheimer and Roberta E. Raith Ritzheimer. She was married to Chuck Wachtman and attended Union Mission Pentecostal Church in Mena. She was a volunteer with Humane Society of the Ouachitas for a number of years and also active with Clarice’s Room of Hope. Katie was a faithful and continuous Prayer Warrior for many years, witnessing and praying for many people, until the end. She was a loving and kind wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend to all who knew her. Katie will be missed by all.
She is survived by husband, Chuck Wachtman of Mena, Arkansas; son, Mark A. Pippin and wife Julie of St. Petersburg, Florida; daughter, Marsena L. Pippin of Old Town, Florida; sister-in-law, Frances Ritzheimer of Florida; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and three nephews.
Mrs. Wachtman was sent for cremation under the direction of the Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
