Arkansas Havoc Jr. basketball team, comprised of girls from the southwest part of Arkansas, earned the 2013 Arkansas State Champions, as well as runners-up in the Super-regional tournament. They went on to nationals and placed second overall there. They have won numerous tournaments all over Arkansas this summer. This team was formed by Chris Gauldin and coached by Zeke Green.
The girls started practicing just after the junior district tournament was over for their respective schools and have formed bonds that cannot be broken. They have actually played more games together from March until July than they did for their schools during the school year.
Team members are from Spring Hill, Foreman, Horatio, De Queen, Cove and Wickes. The girls expressed their appreciation to their sponsors who made it possible for them to achieve all they have this year.
