The Emergency Department at Mena Regional Health System has been named the iCARE Star Department of the Quarter. The department was recently accredited as a Level IV Trauma Center by the Arkansas Department of Health. Additionally, a new team of exceptional physicians has joined the MRHS emergency medical staff. “With a combination of experienced professionals that have advanced training in emergency care, physicians and nursing staff focused on patient-centered care, leading edge technology and certification as an AR Saves Stroke Center, the MRHS emergency department can be trusted for the emergent care needed for you and your family,” said MRHS Public Relations Specialist Sonya Maye. As Department of the Quarter, they received a plaque to be displayed on the iCARE Wall of Fame, a traveling trophy, and a pizza party.
