The Federal Aviation Administration will award over $51 million in grants to 76 airports in Arkansas to help respond to the COVID-19 public health emergency.
It was announced this week that the Mena Intermountain Municipal Airport will receive a $30,000 grant. The Bearce Airport in Mount Ida is in line for a $20,000 grant, while the Waldron Municipal Airport will receive $1,000.
These grants are part of the Trump Administration’s newly created CARES Act Airport Grant Program, an effort to provide immediate relief to American families, workers, and businesses.
