Deputies were dispatched to Polk 151 near Hatfield in reference to a bridge on fire.

Joe Gay, 40, of Texarkana was booked on a warrant for eight counts of theft of property.

Deputies responded to a residence on Polk 96 near Acorn in reference to a structure fire.

Melissa Hartin, 49, of Mena was arrested on two Failure to Appear Warrants.

Deputies responded to a report of domestic battery.

Danielle Sackett, 42, of Cove was arrested on four Failure to Appear Warrants.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 232 near Cove in reference to a scam.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 41 S near Mena in reference to a neighbor dispute.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Dickerson Lane near Cove in reference to a dog bite victim.

 

August 24, 2025

Deputies responded to a report of a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was later located.

A traffic stop on Hwy 71 S near Mena led to the arrest of Matthew Owen, 29, of Mena on charges of DWI, Driving Left of Center, and Careless and Prohibited Driving.
