Deputies were dispatched to Winter Lane near Hatfield in reference to property damage and threats being made.

 

August 4, 2026

Deputies responded to a report of a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was later located and issued a citation for Disorderly Conduct.

Deputies responded to a report of issues with child custody.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hwy 278 near Wickes in reference to an unattended death.

Brandy Crawford, 52, of Bowie, TX was arrested on five Failure to Appear Warrants.

Deputies responded to a report of vandalism at a school campus.

Deputies were dispatched to an address on Polk 41 S near Mena in reference to stolen property.

 

August 5, 2026

Deputies responded to a walk-in complainant in reference to the Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.

Chelsea Holtzclaw, 19, of Mena was booked on a Probation Violation Warrant.

Deputies responded to a walk-in complainant in reference to the theft of prescription medication.

A traffic stop in Mena led to the arrest of John Nursery, 53, of Mena on charges of 2nd Degree Battery, Resisting Arrest, Driving on a DWI Suspended License, and Open Container in a Motor Vehicle.

Randy Whitehead, 44, of Mena was booked on a Failure to Appear Warrant and a Bond Surrender.

John Robertson, 51, of Mena was arrested by an officer with Probation Parole on a Parole Hold.

Brandy Gallop, 46, of Mena was booked on a Drug Court Sanction.

Tiffany Marshcall, 29, of Mena was booked on a Drug Court Sanction.

Deputies were dispatched to the hospital in reference to a dog bite victim.

 

August 6, 2026

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 64 near Shady in reference to a violation of a no contact order leading to the arrest of Dakota Higgins, 24, of Mena on charges of Residential Burglary and Violation of a No Contact Order.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Rocking AA Lane near Cherry Hill in reference to an unattended death.

 

August 7, 2026

A traffic stop on Polk 31 near Hatfield led to the arrest of James Jewell, 35, of Cove on a charge of Driving on a Suspended Driver’s License. Also arrested was Carla Kuykendall, 42, of Vandervoort on charges of Possession of Methamphetamine or Cocaine, Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance, and two counts of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Deputies responded to a walk-in complainant in reference to a missing firearm.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 482 near Vandervoort in reference to threatening messages.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 57 near Board Camp in reference to a physical domestic altercation leading to the arrest of Jetzai Hernandez, 23, of Mena on a charge of 3rd Degree Domestic Battery.

 

August 8, 2026

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 117 near Acorn in reference to a vehicle accident leading to the arrest of Tony Pike, 47, of Mena on a charge of DWI. Also arrested was Christobal Purvis, 44, of Mena on a charge of Public Intoxication.
