Acorn High School’s Staff Appreciation Dinner was held recently. Special honorees at the luncheon were Sean Couch, recognized for his years of service as principal and his work with the Woods and Waters Club.
Jill Newbolt also is leaving teaching behind to help her husband with his business. Bill Hays volunteered to cook and Janice Williams provided assistance working with the students behind the scene. The luncheon included fillet mignon purchased from grant money, salad, homemade yeast rolls prepared by the class students, and side dishes were brought by staff members.
