The Acorn senior boys posted wins over Murfreesboro and Foreman last week to improve to 8-5 in 2A Region 7 conference play.
On Friday night, the Acorn teams took two out of three on the road at Murfreesboro. The Tigers improved to 11-16 overall with a 63-53 victory over the Rattlers. The Murfreesboro girls knocked off the Lady Tigers in a hard fought contest 74-70. The Acorn junior boys won the opening contest 68-51.
On Tuesday night, January 22nd, the Acorn teams swept the Foreman teams at home. The Lady Tigers posted a nine point win at 55-46, while the Tigers whipped the Gators 82-65. Acorn’s junior boys won the opener 54-30.
