BY MELANIE BUCK –
The community of Blackfork will celebrate a Blackfork Heritage Event on June 10, 2017. Organizers are looking for any information on the old schools in the area, “before everyone was shipped out to the ‘big schools.’”
If you have any old pictures, stories, or articles of interest on the people, churches, stores, post office, or anything else related, they would be greatly appreciated to add to the big day.
For more information, contact Elaine Staines at blackforkgarage@gmail.com or by phone at 479-923-4535.
