(BATESVILLE) The University of Arkansas – Rich Mountain athletic programs got a memorable pair of victories for the Bucks Mens and Womens soccer teams.
The womens team edged out Lyons College of Batesville with a 2-1 victory. Madison Zamudio scored both goals for the Lady Bucks.
On the mens side, Maurice Theart scored two goals, with additional goals by Euwin Stevens, Felipe Laport and Caleb Summerfield, leading the Bucks to a 5-4 victory over the Lyons College squad.
Both victories are scrimmage wins and the Bucks will have another scrimmage match this Thursday evening at Bob Carver / Bearcat Stadium in Mena before hitting the road next week for their first schedule counting game in Texas.
Meet The Bucks will take place on Thursday evening at Bearcat Stadium with the Soccer and Cross Country teams. In addition, a Paint The Town Red event is ongoing as well with downtown businesses.
