Submitted by Mena/Polk County Chamber of Commerce
The Mena/Polk County Chamber of Commerce is announcing big changes to the Mena Christmas Parade of Lights. Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases, concern for the community, and ADH restrictions, we will not be hosting the traditional “parade” this year.
Businesses who have chosen to decorate a float will display them at their respective businesses, December 5th, from 6 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
A map will be created and made available that not only lists the locations of the floats but the locations of any businesses, or residences, who have decorated for Christmas.
We invite you to drive by and get into the holiday spirit. The Chamber will be having a Wreath Decorating Contest and these beautiful creations will be displayed in the Depot windows for all to see. Let’s show support to these businesses and individuals who give of themselves, and their time, to spread a little holiday cheer!
