Washington, D.C.— Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) today released the following statement on the sixth anniversary of Obamacare:
“Six years after Obamacare was rammed into law its legacy is fewer choices, higher-costs, and massive debt. Worse, this unworkable law has decimated the market for individual and catastrophic care plans, and tens-of-thousands of Arkansans now face massive fines simply for being unable to afford health insurance that fits President Obama’s parameters. Time and time again I’ve voted to repeal this unworkable law in full. And last December, I was proud to vote to repeal the individual mandate. But the fight isn’t over. Rest assured, I am committed to protecting Arkansans from the worst effects of Obamacare.”
