
She was born April 7, 1932 in Hatfield, Arkansas to the late George Washington Crane and the late Myrtle Cordelia Griffin. She was married for many happy years to the late Harold Oglesby and was a bookkeeper for the Son-Light Center and worked as a lunchroom supervisor. Mrs. Oglesby was the last charter member of the Hatfield Assembly of God Church and was a member for 65 years. Dolores loved God, her family and church family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a loving and kind mother, sister, grandmother, great-mother, and friend to all who knew her. She will be dearly missed by all.
She is survived by children Mike Oglesby and wife Lynn of Lavaca, Arkansas; Steve Oglesby of Hatfield, Arkansas; Karen Jester and husband Steve of Springfield, Missouri; Randy Oglesby and wife Sue of Mena, Arkansas; two brothers Reverend Doyle Crane and Harold Crane; twelve grandchildren Chad Oglesby, Josh Oglesby, Jennifer Holman, Julie Golden, Jacob Jester, Jill Jester, Ashley Crow, Cody Oglesby, Stacie Oglesby, Michaela Wood, Riley Oglesby, and Lily “Bob” Oglesby; eleven great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Myrtle Crane, her husband Harold Oglesby, grandchild, Ben Jester.
Funeral services will be Saturday, July 25, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Hatfield Assembly of God Church in Hatfield with Reverend Tony Busby, Reverend Kevin Price and Reverend Bill Anderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
Family and friends visitation will be Friday, July 24, 2015 at 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Beasley Wood.
