Dr. J. Richard Carver will be retiring December 31, 2014. Dr. Carver devoted his life to taking care of the vision of this community, but, after 50 years in practice, it will be the people behind those eyes that he will miss the most.
Dr. Carver said, “I’m sad to leave. I never said I couldn’t wait until I retired but now I am looking forward to what the future will bring. What I’ll miss most is the interaction with my patients. I’ve been blessed to have the very best patients in the world. It’s the friendships I’ve made that I will miss when I retire. I have enjoyed caring for my patients and their families and providing their eye care needs over these many years. You have been more than patients to me; you are extended friends and family. My wonderful staff and I thank you for your trust and confidence in us all these years.”
Dr. Carver will be featured as an upcoming Pulse Citizen of the Week.
