Starbursts of red waved through Holly Harshman Elementary on Friday, September 20, 2013 as every staff member and student sported their “WE Believe” school shirt. The shirts support HHE principal, Paulette Sherrer’s vision statement for the school. Community partner donations supported that all HHE staff members and students receive a free shirt to wear throughout the year for important days! Friday was a special day as all fourth graders participated in making a “star spangled banner” of their own. The positive based learning approach was used as the students made predictions and mathematical calculations to determine the details of creating the human flag! Ms. Farroll Taylor led the student body to sing “Star Spangled Banner” in honor of it’s birthday last Friday. Thank you HHE Community Partners for making great things happen for our school!
