Lee Jay Burdon

Lee Jay Burdon, age 48, of Mena, passed away Sunday, September 20, 2015 in Mena, Arkansas.

Lee was born February 20, 1967 in Petaluma, California to Norwood Burdon and Lorelei Wagner Burdon.  He was married to Delynn Johnson Burdon and worked in the landscaping business by profession.  Lee was a family man, celebrating with family Saturday dinners, camping outdoors, and sitting around the campfire telling stories. He was an avid fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks and 49ers. He enjoyed cooking and smoking meats and was a community servant. Lee loved being around family and friends.  He was a loving and kind husband, father, brother, uncle and friend to all who knew him.  He will be dearly missed by all.

He is survived by wife, DeLynn Burdon of Mena, Arkansas; children, Eric Burdon of Sonora, California, Evan Burdon of Sonora, California, Ashley Burdon of Sonora, California, Krys Swanberg of Mena, Arkansas, Zach Fijman of Mena, Arknasas, Tyler Luce of Mena, Arkansas; step-mother, Judy Burdon of Cloverdale, California; brothers, Dana Burdon and wife Dwyla of Mena, Arkansas, Tom Holz of Cloverdale, California, Kurt Holz and wife Kaz of Cloverdale, California; sisters, Carla Burdon Cavanbaugh and husband Randy of Manteca, California, Loren Burdon of Mena, Arkansas, Kobi Roberts and husband John of Mena, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, family members, and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Norwood Burdon, and mother, Lorelei Wagner.

Mr. Burdon was sent for cremation under the direction of the Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
