Submitted by Polk County Master Gardeners
Polk County Master Gardeners have embarked on a multi-year, multi-phase update to the existing landscaping at the County Courthouse. Because the present landscaping is extensive, work will progress in stages over a number
of years. This growing season weed control will be the emphasis…not fun or pretty but necessary. We ask for the public’s patience as we renew the beds literally from the ground up.
Polk County Master Gardeners is a volunteer program offered by the University of Arkansas, Division of Agriculture Cooperative Extension Service. The program is designed to increase the availability of horticultural information and to provide community education opportunities through horticulture projects. For more information call the Polk County Extension Service Office, telephone (479) 394-6018.
