Back in action on the baseball diamond on Monday, the Mena Bearcats took on Western Yell County at Union Bank Park. Junior, Landon Stidman, started out on the mound for the Bearcats. After what fans thought was going to be a slow start, Jarrett Clibrey scored the first run and they were off, searching for another win. The third inning was what won it for the Bearcats. Once again seniors really stepped up for the team. Jared Flemens and Brycen Aynes both had great hits and earned RBI’s. With their big plays, the Bearcats pulled out their second win of the season winning 16 to 3. The Bearcats will be back in action Tuesday at Foreman and Friday at Cossatot River.
