Mena Police Department – January 19 – 25, 2014

The following information was received from Mena Police Department for the week of January 19 – January 25, 2014.  The charges against those arrested are allegations and the cases are still pending in the courts.  Individuals charged and whose names appear in this column may submit documentation to us at a later date that the charges have been dismissed or that they have been found innocent and we will include that information in this space in a timely manner.

January 19, 2014

Two local women reported that a man had followed them in a local park and that they felt threatened.  Case is pending.

January 20, 2014

Employees at a local home furnishing store reported that someone had damaged the frame and pipes to their air conditioning system.  Case is pending.

A Mena man reported that someone damaged the windshield to a car on his property.  Case is pending.

January 21, 2014

Report was taken of two pit bull dogs being loose on a local street.  The dogs were located and the owner took possession of them.

January 22, 2014

Three 16-year-old Mena girls were cited for second-degree battery after a call to a fight at a local residence.

Sienna J. Free, 30, of Waldron was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Logan County.  She was additionally charged locally with resisting arrest.

January 23, 2014

Timothy Robertson, 26, of Mena was charged with third degree battery after an incident at a local residence.  He was also served an outstanding warrant for failure-to-pay fines and court costs from the Mena police department.

A local woman reported that someone had broken into a house on a local street by breaking the lock.  Case is pending further investigation.

A 13-year-old Mena boy was charged with theft after an incident at a local business.

A local man reported several pills missing from a prescription he had just had filled.  Case is pending interview of suspect.

Owner of a local motel reported that someone had vandalized the laundry/supply room.  Case is pending interview of suspect.

Kayla M. Pringle, 18, of Mena was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure-to-pay fines and court costs.

January 24, 2014

Justin Lee Holden, 27, of Amity was arrested on an outstanding warrant from Pike County.

Andrew Lee Fletcher, 35, of Mena was arrested on three outstanding felony warrants from Tulsa, Oklahoma.  He was also cited for driving on a suspended driver’s license.

January 25, 2014

Cody Daniel Kaderly, 19, of Mena was charged with shoplifting after a call to a local grocery store.

Officers completed an additional six reports and worked one accident.
