Kyle Robertson, MRHS Respiratory/Cardiopulmonary Therapist, was recently named the Mena Regional Health System iCARE STAR Employee of the Year for 2014. Upon receiving his Bachelor of Science in Cardiopulmonary Care from UAMS/AHEC-SW, Kyle worked in the Texarkana and Tyler areas. He has been a part of the MRHS respiratory team for 6 years.
In addition to working the evening shift at MRHS, Kyle is a certified instructor for BLS, ACLS and PALS. He is very passionate about teaching others and writing about unique cases. He finds education to be very rewarding and loves to read and instruct others about topics relating to the health care industry.
In 2014, Robertson served as Chairman for the South District of Arkansas Society for Respiratory Care. He is married to Jenny Robertson. The couple has two daughters, Finley and Briggs. Kyle values the iCARE philosophy and demonstrates exemplary patient-centered care.
“Kyle is an exceptional employee who takes the time to personally connect with his patients. He is dependable, knowledgeable and provides excellence in quality patient care. He is very deserving of this recognition,” stated Russell Lockhart, Director of Respiratory. As the recipient of the award, Kyle received a cash bonus, personal iCARE plaque and his name on the progressive plaque displayed on the iCARE wall in the hospital.
