The University of Arkansas Rich Mountain is offering a new Certificate of Proficiency in Web Design. Course in the certificate will provide students with a basic background in designing a webpage. This certificate will be available for students beginning in the spring 2017 semester, pending ADHE approval. The certificate can be completed in one year.
Areas covered include, introduction to website design, advanced website design, and introduction to programming in Java. This certificate covers the academic subjects employers have identified as desirable in employment candidates.
Students who are interested in obtaining financial aid to pursue completion of this certificate can contact Mary Standerfer at the RMCC Financial Aid office, 479-394-7622 Extension 1420.
