The Outlaws Gunfighter Group will be a new feature at this year’s Lum & Abner Festival, scheduled for June 6 and 7. According to event organizers, the Outlaws will thrill the audience with their comical, yet authentic old west cowboy show.
The group will entertain from their own Old West Town set up at the corner of 7th and Port Arthur. The family and kid friendly shows will take place throughout the day on Saturday and promises to become a new festival favorite.
This event will be among all of the other annual events that have become traditional with Mena’s signature festival sponsored each year by the Mena Advertising & Promotion Commission, including the Lil’ Miss and Mister Lum & Abner Pageant; Car, Truck, Corvette, & Motorcycle Show, Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, Lum & Abner Film Festival at the OLT, Mena Lion’s Club BBQ Cook-Off, 5K Walk/Run, 3 on 3 Basketball, Fishing Derbies, Lum & Abner Softball Tournament, RE/MAX Baby Crawlin’ Contest, Union Bank Firefighter’s Challenge, Kiddie Korner, and the Outhouse Races.
Commercial, arts & craft, and food vendors will be set-up for shopping plus an entire slate of outstanding entertainers.
