Discovery of suspicious items led to a 13-year-old Mena male being issued a Juvenile Citation for Theft of Property. The juvenile was released to the custody of a parent/guardian.
Traffic stop on Highway 71 North led to the arrest of Adam L. Dollarhyde, 26, of Mena, on a Charge of Driving on a Suspended Driver’s License.
Arrested was Christopher D. Dougan, 41, of Nashville, on a Warrant for Failure to Appear.
Arrested was Micah W. Arnold, 40, of Mena, on Charges of Forgery, Breaking or Entering and Theft. Also arrested was April D. Arnold, 36, of Mena, on Charges of Forgery and Theft.

Arrested was John Pitchford, Jr., 40, and Sarah D. Pitchford, 31, both of Cove, each on a Montgomery County Warrant.

Report from complainant on Polk 53 near Mena of the theft of a trash receptacle, valued at $20.00. Investigation continues.
Arrested was Jerry D. Edwards, 44, of Mena, on a Warrant for Failure to Comply with a Court Order.
Arrested was Richard D. Ducote, 39, of Mena, on Charges of Possession of Methamphetamine with Purpose to Deliver and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Also arrested was Crystal M. Ducote, 37, of Mena, on Warrants for Probation Violation and Failure to Comply with a Court Order. Additionally arrested was Christopher L. Chesser, 30, of Vandervoort, on Charges of Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Report of an altercation led to a 12-year-old Mena male being issued a Juvenile Citation for Disorderly Conduct. The juvenile was released to the custody of a parent/guardian.
Report of a one-vehicle accident on Polk 78 near the Potter community. Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.
Report from a Cove woman that her 15-year-old daughter had ran away. The youth was located and issued a Juvenile Citation for Obstructing Governmental Operations. A 16-year-old Dequeen male was issued Juvenile Citations for Obstructing Governmental Operations, Disorderly Conduct, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance. Both juveniles were released to the custody of a parent/guardian.

Report from Mena Regional Health System of an assault victim. Both parties refused to press charges.

Report from complainant on Highway 8 West of possible ingestion of a dangerous substance. Victim was airlifted to National Park Hospital in Hot Springs.
Arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department was Curtis C. Cline, 55, of Ft. Smith, on a Charge of Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License.

Report from complainant on Tammy Lane near Cove of a break-in and theft of a firearm, totaling losses at $250.00. Investigation continues.
Traffic stop on Highway 71 North near Mena led to Citations for Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License and No Seatbelt being issued to Amber Brock, 36, of Hatfield.
Report of a one-vehicle accident on Polk 164 near the Rocky community led to the arrest of Jerry D. Edwards, 44, of Mena, on Charges of Careless Driving, Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License, No Seatbelt and Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance.
Traffic stop on Highway 71 South in Hatfield led to the arrest of Billie C. Jennings, 54, of Hatfield, on a Warrant for Failure to Comply with a Court Order.
Arrested was Derrick C. Cogburn, 25, of Norman, on three Warrants for Violation of the Arkansas Hot Check Law.
Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked four vehicle accidents this week.
Polk County Detention Center Jail Population: 23 Incarcerated Inmates; 17 Inmates currently on the Waiting List for a State Facility, of which 8 are currently out of jail on a monitoring system.
