Deputies were dispatched to Polk 53 near Mena in reference to a vehicle fire.

Lauren Bollmeyer, 32, of Mena was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant.

Deputies were dispatched to Polk 38 near Potter in reference to a verbal altercation. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

Deputies responded to a report of possible harassment.

 

May 14, 2025

Christopher Carterby, 42, of Wickes was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 76 E near Acorn in reference to an abandoned animal and threatening messages. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

Christopher Chesser, 40, of Mena was arrested on a Body Attachment.

Jasper Anderson, 28, of Waldron was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant.

Deputies responded to a report of a physical altercation.

 

May 15, 2025

Mary McCauley, 24, of Mena was arrested on a 2nd Degree Domestic Battery Warrant.

Tyrail Higgins, 39, of Mena was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine or Cocaine with Purpose to Deliver and on a Parole Hold.

Rebecca Davis, 39, of Marthaville, LA was arrested on a warrant for Violation of the Arkansas Hot Check Law.

Jearl Wilkinson, 40, of Cove was arrested on a warrant for Driving While Intoxicated and Careless and Prohibited Driving.

Deputies responded to a walk-in complainant in reference to the fraudulent use of a credit card.

 

May 16, 2025

Deputies responded to a walk-in complainant in reference to a vehicle being broken into and items take.

Deputies were dispatched to Heritage Lane near Hatfield in reference to an incident leading to the arrest of Dealia Jewell, 26, of Hatfield on a charge of Public Intoxication. Deputies later responded to the area in reference to a report of a possible overdose.

 

May 17, 2025

Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle being broken into on Polk 184 near Acorn.

A traffic stop on Cemetery Road near Hatfield led to James Thornton of Cove being issued a citation for Driving on a Suspended Driver’s License, No Motorcycle Endorsement, No Insurance, No Vehicle License, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

John Nursery, 52, of Mena was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant.

Christopher Thomas, 35, of Mena was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant.

 

May 18, 2025

Deputies responded to a report of the unauthorized use of a vehicle. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 55 near Mena in reference to the unauthorized use of a vehicle. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

Deputies responded to an incident at a residence on Polk 68 near Cherry Hill leading to the arrest of Jeremy Burns, 47, of Mena on charges of 2nd Degree Battery, Resisting Arrest, Criminal Trespass, 2nd Degree Criminal Impersonation, Theft of Property, and a Parole Hold.

Deputies responded to a report of a vehicle being broken into.

 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked 1 vehicle accident this week.
