October 27, 2025

Deputies responded to a walk-in complainant in reference to a scam.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 77 near Acorn in reference to a physical altercation leading to the arrest of Joshua Smith, 34, of Mena on a charge of 3rd Degree Domestic Battery. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

Deputies were dispatched to Polk 167 near Potter in reference to missing juveniles. The juveniles were later located.

 

October 28, 2025

Deputies responded to a walk-in complainant in reference to a stolen firearm.

 

October 29, 2025

Deputies responded to a walk-in complainant in reference to a trespasser. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

Latisha Collins, 31, of Tuscaloosa, AL was arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department on charges of 2nd Degree Forgery and a Hot Check.

 

October 30, 2025

Deputies responded to a report of harassment. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

 

October 31, 2025

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 78 near Potter in reference to an unattended death.

Deputies responded to a report of a scam.

 

November 1, 2025

Bobby May, 37, of Mena was arrested on a warrant for Possession of a Schedule I or II Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Wendell Harvey, 56, of Mena was arrested on three Failure to Appear Warrants.

Carol Henry, 58, of Mena was arrested on a warrant for Theft of Property.

Spencer Powell, 36, of Mena was arrested on a Body Attachment.

 

November 2, 2025

A traffic stop on Hwy 88 E near Mena led to the arrest of Bradshaw Hendershot, 18, of Mena on charges of DWI and Defective Equipment.

Deputies responded to a residence on Polk 293 near Mena in reference to stolen property.

Deputies responded to a report of a missing juvenile. The juvenile was later located.

Albita Garay, 33, of Colorado Springs, CO was arrested on a charge of DWI.

Richard Hexamer, 62, of Mena was arrested on a warrant for 1st Degree Sexual Assault.

 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked 1 vehicle accident this week.
