Deputies were dispatched to a residence on E Boundary Road for a disturbance leading to the arrest of Mario Caramez, 43, of Mena on a charge of Public Intoxication.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 136 near Cove in reference to a disturbance leading to the arrest of John Timcoe, 50, of Cove on charges of Disorderly Conduct, Public Intoxication, and Aggravated Assault on a Family or Household Member. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

Deputies responded to a report of a break-in.

 

November 19, 2025

Gavin Whitmire, 34, of Wickes was arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department on charges of No Driver’s License and Violation of Motor Vehicle Interlock Device Requirements.

Deputies responded to a report of a missing juvenile. The juvenile was later located.

Austin Kain, 29, of Mena was arrested on four Failure to Appear Warrants.

Deputies responded to a vandalism report.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Tims Lane near Hatfield in reference to a verbal altercation. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Prairie Dog Lane near Hatfield in reference to a physical altercation.

Deputies responded to reports of mailboxes being vandalized.

 

November 22, 2025

Dakota Higgins, 23, of Hatfield was arrested on charges of Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct, and Communicating a False Alarm.

Dought Heath, 68, of Mena was arrested on a Theft of Property Warrant.

Christian Broussard, 27, of Lafayette, LA was arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department on a charge of Driving on a DWI Suspended License.

 

November 23, 2025

Laine Barber, 31, of Mena was arrested on a warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked 2 vehicle accidents this week.
