Deputies responded to a report of an unattended death.

 

April 21, 2026

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hwy 4 near Cove in reference to a trespasser. Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney for further consideration.

 

April 22, 2026

Deputies responded to a report of Identity Fraud.

Bradley Crawford, 31, of Mena was arrested on a charge of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and on a Parole Hold.

Joshua Heifner, 24, of Mena was arrested on a Failure to Appear Warrant.

 

April 23, 2026

Deputies were dispatched to a report of domestic battery at a residence on Polk 188 near Acorn leading to the arrest of Dustin White, 27, of Mena on a charge of Aggravated Assault on a Household or Family Member.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 51 near Mena in reference to a welfare check leading to the arrest of Tanner Milham, 27, of Mena on charges of Resisting Arrest and 2nd Degree Battery.

Charles Walker, 77, of Mena was arrested by an officer with Probation Parole on charges of Registered Offender Living Near a School and Failure to Comply with Registration and Reporting Requirements.

 

April 24, 2026

A traffic stop on Polk 30 near Hatfield led to the arrest of William Conley, 19, of Hatfield on a charge of Driving Under the Influence.

April 26, 2026

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Butler Circle near Hatfield in reference to an unauthorized use of a vehicle.

 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked 3 vehicle accidents this week.
