July 6, 2026

Deputies responded to a residence on Polk 277 near Cove in reference to dogs being shot.

A traffic stop on Hwy 71 near Hatfield led to the arrest of Larry Joseph, 48, of Cove on charges of Possession of Firearm by certain Persons, No Driver’s License, and Unsafe Vehicle – Defective Equipment.

 

July 7, 2026

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 29 near Hatfield in reference to an unattended death.

Deputies responded to a report of a scam.

Deputies responded to a residence on Polk 35 near Cove in reference to a scam.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Stone Lane near Mena in reference to a physical disturbance leading to the arrest of Royce Green, 50, of Mena on a charge of 3rd Degree Domestic Battery. Chelsea Holtzclaw of Mena was also issued a citation for 3rd Degree Domestic Battery and Violation of a No Contact Order.

Raphael Overturf, 21, of Mena was arrested by an officer with Probation Parole to be held for another agency.

 

July 8, 2026

Deputies responded to a report of a hit and run at a business near Cove.

 

July 9, 2026

Rodney Provence, 55, of Cove was arrested on a warrant for 1st Degree Sexual Assault and two counts of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Treasure Lane near Acorn in reference to a vehicle fire.

 

July 10, 2026

Brandon Cline, 44, of Antlers was arrested on a warrant for 3rd Degree Domestic Battery.

 

July 11, 2026

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Polk 89 near Mena in reference to a domestic altercation leading to the arrest of Jarett Brem, 40, of Kaufman, TX on a charge of 3rd Degree Domestic Battery.

Deputies responded to a report of Property Damage at a residence on Polk 89 near Mena.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Acorn Lane near Acorn in reference to an unattended death.

 

July 12, 2026

Deputies responded to a report of a missing dog.
