A traffic stop on George’s Lane near Mena led to the arrest of Jeremiah Smith, 43, of Mena on charges of DWI, Reckless Driving, and Fleeing.

 

September 1, 2026

Daniel Whitehead, 42, of Mena was arrested on three Failure to Appear Warrants.

Ian Murphy, 30, of Fort Smith was arrested on warrants for Residential Burglary and Fleeing as well as a Body Attachment warrant.

 

September 2, 2026

Deputies responded to a report of littering at a residence on Hwy 88 E near Ink.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hwy 8 E near Big Fork in reference to a structure fire.

 

September 3, 2026

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Massey Lane near Board Camp in reference to a UTV accident.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Hwy 246 near Vandervoort in reference to a trespasser.

Camron Tabor, 24, of Mena was arrested on a warrant for Harassing Communications.

 

September 4, 2026

Joshua Graham, 36, of Mena was arrested on a warrant for Fleeing and to be held for another agency.

Deputies responded to a report of two unoccupied vehicles on the side of Polk 55 near Board Camp. The vehicles were towed.

 

September 5, 2026

No reports.

 

September 6, 2026

Deputies responded to a harassment report.

Deputies responded to a report of terroristic threatening.

 

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked 3 vehicle accidents this week.
