Polk County Sheriff’s Report

The charges against those arrested are allegations and the cases are still pending in the courts. Individuals charged and whose names appear in this column may submit documentation to us at a later date that the charges have been dismissed or that they have been found innocent and we will include that information in this space in a timely manner.

December 16, 2019

Arrested was Kymberlie A. Chaney, 22, of Dequeen, on a Warrant for Failure to Appear.

Arrested was Daniel S. Green, 42, of Mena, on Warrants for Theft, Theft of Property, Violation of Suspended Imposition of Sentence and three counts of Failure to Appear.

December 17, 2019

Report of disruptive behavior led to a 17-year-old female being issued a Juvenile Citation for Terroristic Threatening.  The juvenile was released to the custody of a parent/guardian.

Arrested by a trooper with the Arkansas State Police was Donavan T. Hunt, 28, of Mena, on Charges of Speeding, Failure to Register, No Proof of Insurance and Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License.

December 18, 2019

Report from complainant on Polk 676 near Acorn of the theft of a light bar, valued at $500.00.  Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Arrested was Kymberlie A. Chaney, 22, of Dequeen, on three Warrants for Felony Failure to Appear.

Report from complainant on Polk 36 near Hatfield of the theft of a firearm, knives, clothing, electronics and a storage item, all valued at $720.00.  Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on Polk 68 near Cherry Hill of the theft of prescription medication.  Investigation continues.

Report of a disturbance on Polk 44 near Mena led to the arrest of Eric T. Cannon, 28, of Mena, on a Charge of Domestic Battery 3rd Degree.

Report of a one-vehicle accident on Polk 76 East near Mena led to the arrest of Ricky D. Wright, 42, of Mena, on Charges of Disorderly Conduct, Resisting Arrest, Leaving the Scene of an Accident and Obstructing Governmental Operations.

Arrested was Arian D. Robertson, 25, of Mena, on a Warrant for Battery 3rd Degree and Harassment.

Arrested was Nancy N. Odle, 35, of Mena, on a Charge of Driving While Intoxicated.

December 21, 2019

Report from complainant on Polk 626 near Mena of finding a firearm.  Investigation continues.

Traffic stop led to the arrest of Aaron F. Ollar, 32, of Mena, on Charges of No Turn Signal, Possession of Meth/Cocaine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, a Parole Hold and a Warrant for Violation of a Suspended Imposition of Sentence.

December 22, 2019

Report from a Mena woman of the theft of $40 cash and prescription medication.  Investigation continues.

Report of an unattended death on Polk 61 near Big Fork.  Deputy responded.

Report from complainant on Rogers Street in Cove of the theft of alcohol, valued at $35.00.  Investigation continues.

Report from complainant on Gamma Lane near Mena of the violation of an Order of Protection.  Information has been forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Polk County Sheriff’s Office worked five vehicle accidents this week.

Polk County Detention Center Jail Population: 26 Incarcerated Inmates , with 9 Inmates currently on the Waiting List for a State Facility.
