Christi Shea Freeze has been chosen as the RMCC Student Support Services’ Student of the Month for September, 2015. Shea is a wife, Salvation Army volunteer, and English tutor in RMCC’s Learning Enrichment Advising Center. She began attending RMCC in the fall of 2014 and is working on her Associate of Arts degree in elementary education. She plans to graduate in the fall of 2016. Upon graduation, her goal is to transfer to Southern Arkansas University’s K-6 education program in DeQueen. She credits her college success to her faith in the strength of Christ Jesus, her husband, Mike, and the very helpful support staff in Student Support Services. Shea says, “I am extremely thankful for SSS. They assist with everything a college student needs: use of text books, assistance with typing and printing papers, and most importantly, tutoring. College is hard, but SSS makes the experience easier.”
