In cooperation with local businesses and the Arkansas Rice Depot, Mena Regional Health System has accepted the challenge to support a local Polk County
School by providing food for the backpack program. In order to feed 40 children every weekend for an entire year, the school house has to be fully bricked. The schoolhouse will be completed once 240 bricks have been purchased. Personalized bricks can be purchased at $10.00 each. The deadline for the completion has been set for January 31, 2014. If you or your business is interested in purchasing bricks, contact Sonya Maye at MRHS Administration office 479-243-2378. If you need further information, you may visit the Arkansas Rice Depot website at www.ricedepot.org.
