Zane Barr, a senior at Acorn High School, plans to attend The University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and major in Chemical Engineering. ‘Planet X’ Lands at Acorn School Campus

From the Museum of Discovery, Planet X came to Acorn School recently.  Science students in grades 5-8 collected data as they completed hands-on investigations during interactive science activities.  Ten stations included earthquake building, robotics, rocket design, engine repair, laser refraction, solar energy production, airlift using Bernouli’s Principle, decoding incoming messages, and communication. Acorn Announces Snow Day Make-Up Schedule

Due to the school days missed because of inclement weather, Acorn School will have the following make up days: Saturday, April 5 Saturday, April 26 Saturday, May 17 These Saturdays will begin at 8 am and end at 1:30 pm. Buses will run and meals will be served. The last day of school will be May 30th.
