It’s that time of year for the kids to get out the crayons, colored pencils or markers (no paints or glitter, please) for the annual Halloween Coloring Contest. You can pick up a copy of The Polk County Pulse Oct. 4, 11 or 18 issue and tear out the coloring page. The deadline is noon on Oct. 19 to turn it in to one of the sponsors: Farmers Co-op, Freedom Pharmacy or Janssen Avenue Florists & Gifts/Merle Norman Studio.
