The Acorn Junior Tigers knocked off the Cossatot River Junior Eagles 42-31 Monday, October 17th at Acorn High School.

In the third period, the Tigers outscored the Eagles 17-10 to build an 11 point advantage at 34-23. Both squads scored eight point each to set the final score at Acorn 42, Cossatot River 31.
Matt Chaney led the Tigers with 15 points, while Jordan Ward scored 10 and Brody Webb had nine.
The Acorn Junior Lady Tigers cruised past the Cossatot River Junior Lady Eagles 54-25.
Acorn outscored Cossatot 20-9 in the first period, and 15-5 in the second to go up 35-14 at the half.
The Lady Tigers extended their lead in the third period, outscoring the Lady Eagles 17-7 to take a 52-21 advantage.
Both schools scored four points during the final period, to set the final score at Acorn 54, Cossatot River 25.
Sophie Jackson led the Lady Tigers with 17 points, while Lexi Powell scored 12 and Halli Holland had 11.
The Acorn Junior Tiger seventh grade defeated the Cossatot River seventh grade 13-9 in the the first game of the evening.
