A tail-gating like atmosphere filled the air as honorary cheerleaders from Acorn, Cossatot River and Mena High Schools assembled together with many awesome cheers for the university and the various sports teams.
Several hundred fans filled the seats at the stadium for the event. The introduction of athletes from the Cross Country and Soccer teams were made as well.
Following the introductions, fans were treated to an interesting and exciting scrimmage game between the Gray and Red Mens Soccer teams.
In addition, many businesses in downtown Mena also decorated the front of their locations in support of “Painting the Town Red” in preparation for the event.
