Union Bank Donates to Single Parent Scholarship

Union Bank President Philip Hensley presents the bank’s $500.00 contribution to Polk County Single Parent Scholarship Fund board members, Tim Rodgers and Pete Chambers. In thanking Hensley, Chambers noted that Union Bank not only has supported the scholarship fund financially for eleven years, but also by serving on the board and providing meeting space. “The bank including us in the community organizations it supports,” Chambers said, “makes a huge difference in our ability to help single parents get the education and skills they need to build great lives for their families. We are very appreciative.”
