
Zepha enjoyed going to church and singing. She also loved to help others, and working in her yard and garden. She worked at Aalfs in Mena for many years. She wrote the Plunketville News for the Mena Star and loved collecting the stories from her neighbors and friends. She was a very loving and giving person to all who knew her. All who knew her will cherish her memory.
Zepha is survived by step-daughter, Jeannie Young and husband Don; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends of the community.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, one sister, her first husband, Pete Burgess, and second, Buddy Forehand.
Funeral service will be Saturday, January 6, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Nazarene in Cove with Brother Steve Bradley officiating. Interment will follow in the West View Cemetery under the direction of the Beasley Wood Funeral Home of Mena.
Pallbearers will be Don Young, Ron Smith, Paul Stark, Bill Walker, Wango Johnson, and Casey Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Toon and Jeff Ulmer.
Family wishes to say a sincere ‘Thank-You” to Peach Tree, Ouachita Hospice, and Dr. Jeff Ulmer for taking care of Mrs. Forehand.
