Wednesday, September 23, is See You at the Pole Day around the world. See You at the Pole is a student-initiated and student-led movement that began in Texas in 1990 with a single church youth group. Each year, more than 3 million students take part all around the globe, in every time zone. Students will be gathering at their flagpoles praying for their school, friends, families, churches, and communities. See You at the Pole is a day committed to global unity in Christ and prayer.
Several Polk County school campuses will take part in the annual event.
The Baptist Collegiate Ministry will be hosting See You At The Pole at the flagpole on the RMCC main campus at 7:30 Wednesday morning.
Acorn will also start their See You at the Pole activities around 7:30. There are students who will be singing and leading worship and then they will pray.
Dallas Avenue Baptist Church will provide donuts, milk, and orange juice for a See You at the Pole event at Mena High School at 7 a.m. Wednesday and Cossatot River High School will have their event at 11:30 a.m.
