BY LEANN DILBECK –
A muddy arena floor from a Thursday night rain did not dampen the spirits of the participants or the volunteers of the 2013 Handi-Capable Rodeo held this morning (Friday, August 9) at the Andy Risenhoover Arena.

These cowgirls and cowboys showed their grit and enthusiasm for life as they danced to the music, rode horses, tried their luck at roping and riding a bucking bull (barrel), and had their faces painted by the beloved rodeo clowns.
The event is very near and dear to the hearts of Wendy Strother and the many cowgirls and cowboys of all ages that help to make this event so very special for its athletes.
The 60th Annual Professional Championship Rodeo continues tonight at 7:30.
