Do you have children ages 5-19 that are interested in horses? If you live in Polk County, or close to Polk County, there will be an interest meeting for anyone interested in being a part of a 4-H Horse Club at the Grannis Trail Riders Arena at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30. The meeting will be held in the bleachers next to the concession stand, so be sure to dress accordingly to match the weather. You do not have to own horses to be a part of this club, but an interest in horses is helpful. You do not have to bring horses to this meeting, as we will just be talking about what it will take to have a 4-H Horse Club. If you will not be able to attend this meeting and are interested in being a part, or if you have any questions, please contact Kathy Beck at the Polk County Extension Office at 211 DeQueen Street, Mena, or by phone at (479) 394-6018.
