Polk County 4H members made a visit to the Arkansas State Capitol on February 16th as part of National 4H Day. The event gives participants an opportunity to learn more about state government. Not only were they able to tour the Capitol building, they also got to meet up with members of the legislature that represent Polk County. Senator Larry Teague, Representative John Maddox, and Representative Marcus Richmond all visited with the students. There were more than 550 participants and chaperones from across the state the enjoyed the day.
