WASHINGTON – Congressman Bruce Westerman (R-Hot Springs) joined his colleagues on the House Committee on the Budget Monday (March 16) in a YouTube video previewing the committee’s proposed budget, set for release Tuesday morning (March 17).
Westerman’s remarks in the video highlight returning power to the states.
“Washington doesn’t have all the answers, and Congress should be humble enough to admit that,” Westerman said. “Our budget will respect the principle of federalism by returning authority to state and local leaders so they have the flexibility to better serve their unique communities. This will ensure more choices and responsiveness to every American.”
