August 26, 2013

Arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department was Sonia P. Enriquez, 30, of Wickes, on a Warrant for Failure to Appear.

August 27, 2013

Report of a disturbance on Polk 71 in the Yocana community.  Reporting party left the residence before officers arrived.

Report from a Mena woman that her 15-year-old son had ran away.  The juvenile was located and returned to the custody of his parent.

August 28, 2013

Arrested was Melissa D. Arms, 37, of Dequeen, on a Warrant for Probation Violation.

Arrested was Andrea D. Cowden, 52, of Mena, on a Warrant for Probation Violation.

Arrested was Malcolm S. Snell, 26, of Fort Worth, TX, on a Warrant for Probation Violation.

Arrested by a trooper with the Arkansas State Police was Justin C. Davis, 20, of Mena, on Charges of Driving with a Suspended Driver’s License and Speeding.

Arrested by an officer with the Grannis Police Department was Jessica M. Mayo, 27, of Wickes, on a Warrant for Failure to Comply with a Court Order.

August 29, 2013

Arrested was Steve E. Chronister, 52, of Kirby, on a Body Attachment Warrant.

Report from complainant on Ryder Lane that his wife was missing.  The woman was later located.

Report of a disturbance on Delmo Lane near Cove led to the arrest of James R. Garrett, 57, of Cove, on a Charge of Assault 3^rd Degree.

August 30, 2013

Report from complainant on Gamma Lane near Mena of an unwanted person on their property.  Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

August 31, 2013

Report from complainant on Polk 47 near the Shady Grove community of being threatened and harassed.  Investigation continues.

Traffic stop on Third Street in Mena led to the arrest of Melissa K. Staggs, 26, of Mena, on a Warrant for Failure to Appear.

Report from walk-in complainant of issues with custody exchange.  Information has been provided to the Prosecuting Attorney’s Office for further consideration.

Report of persons smoking marijuana at the Polk County Fairgrounds led to the arrest of Alban R. Beckwith, 21, of Mena, on a Charge of Possessing an Instrument of Crime. Also arrested was Charles T. Odena, 19, of Mena, on two Warrants for Failure to Appear.

September 1, 2013

Reports from two neighboring complainants on Highway 8 West near the Rocky community of having goats killed by dogs.  Investigation continues.

Traffic stop on Magnolia Street in Mena led to the arrest of Joe F. Hinkle, 36, of Cove, on Charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance, Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Also arrested was Brooklin M. Taylor, 24, of Mena, on Charges of Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of a Schedule III Controlled Substance, Possession of a Schedule IV Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Misdemeanor Possession of a Controlled Substance, No Liability Insurance and Failure to Signal.
