“We would like to express our gratitude to the men from Company C, 1st Battalion, 153rd Infantry Regiment, who acted as our Color Guard,” said Headley. “Also, to everyone who participated in the parade.”
At the reception, around 100 children stayed to visit Santa. “We would like to extend our thanks to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office who provided traffic control, to our very capable serves, the parade judges, the decorating committee from the Cove Branch of the Polk County Library, and everyone who helped make this event so wonderful.”
